I think employees should be able to evaluate their employer’s performance. And hold them accountable for their poor, or questionable performance. Managers of departments with the power over their subordinates often have an incorrect perspective or perception of those they employee or supervise. And in some cases, they use their own insecurities, misinformation and performance or internal cultural issues, issues I like to call “Fixable” issues to defame the character of their subordinates, and pass judgements that go undefended by the victim.
They just expect you to take it. Ask no questions and just '“Stay in Your Place”. Professional mentoring and conflict resolutions seems to be voided these days, leaving employees at the mercy of their employer, which usually results to people developing poor morale, and hostility against their employer, because they are afraid to speak up for themselves, because they fear retaliation or getting fired. Many Managers are not LEADERS there is a difference.
